If you were over weight prior to pregnancy, then your doctor may recommend you gain less - no more than 15-25 pounds. If you were under weight than it may be suggested that you gain closer to 40 or 45 pounds.

 

Let’s be clear – pregnancy is not the time you should be dieting and trying to loose weight. Having a baby – a healthy baby is the end goal!
